Got 'em put together. The M Farmall and JD #5 mower. While I was at it, I put all new guards and sickle sections on the sickle bar.
Works fine, but I am not a fan of raising and lowering the sickle bar with Farmall's rod to pull and push to raise and lower the sickle bar. You can't just raise or lower the bar an inch or two, it's either up or down.
My H with the loader has a double valve mounted by the right headlight and plumbed into the belly pump, with one lever for the lift cylinders and one for the bucket. I'll do the same on the M. All it will take will be a single valve and a few hoses. You run the pressure line off the pump and put a T fitting under the fill cap for the return line.
