I'm still learning but on ih with the transmissions brakes I adjusted should/can they really be set hard enough that if thI er left in 4th gear and you shove the clutch in should you be able to just pull them back in to low or high range and have no grinding! I have gotten into the habit a long time agony of every time I get off I throw them in first gear so then the tranny isn't spinning shove the clutch boom in to high or low no grinding! Now for dad he won't and he grinds the crap outta my tractors and I hate it! Maybe I need new brake pads on my trators I don't know! Just trying to make my old tractors work the best they can!
