Get a manual, think I beat B&D to it.
The newer style gauge wheel arms let you screw adjust the tension, the older ones have shims. I would replace them whole arm with the new style if any are bad. They are less than $20 aftermarket.
Make sure and check the closing wheel bearings, they WILL fall off in the field if bad. I make sure they are not stuck or wiggle.
The square tube tends to get filled up with mouse nests, which hold moisture and rust the tubes out.
The finger meters work very well, I would upgrade if it does not have them.
Ours has a hard time metering the small beams accurately, works good if you move right along.
