I read a story once of a local animal rights group getting wind of the fact that a farmer intended to run some cows through a squeeze chute to give them some shots. A gal from the group showed up to make sure those poor innocent cows weren't mistreated.
In the middle of the proceedings, the gal made the mistake of turning her back on one cantankerous old cow. The gal's backside was too tempting to the cow, and the cow butted the gal rather vigorously from the rear. The gal flew forward and landed on her face in the middle of a big puddle of half muddy water and half cow manure.
The gal "lost it", and grabbed a convenient shovel and lit into the cow. The farmer's son just happened to have a camera in his pickup and got some beautiful shots of this animal rights gal beating the tar out of a cow with a shovel.
The photos were duly forwarded to the animal right's group's office. I'm not sure of the outcome from there.
