From my experience they seem to have a flat price they'll pay for a tractor no matter what shape it's in. It used to amaze me when we'd go to Archbold,that the burnt tractors in skid row would bring as much as complete tractors that weren't burned to the ground. I sold a parts tractor with a blown engine to Stamm Equipment and three runners with weak engines to what is now Worthington but had a different name at the time,none of them paid much. I know full well it wouldn't have taken very many parts off them to get their money back. I called Worthington two years or so ago and asked what they'd give for a running JD 1020 gas. They offered $800 if I'd deliver it.
