Probably shouldn't hurt it any. I would assume the ground was somewhat warm before the storm, and the wheat should just insulate it even better. And it will like the moisture, I would assume in less you are as wet as you were up there last spring and summer.
We were trying to build grain elevators in Chadron and by Gordon, and I've never heard of the rain and snow you got until last year. I was told the norm was 14" a year. Seems like there was more than that by the end of April. Bob
