In any case, the point that I was trying to make is that it is not reasonable to expect someone to work for 3 or 4 dollars an hour - migrant worker or not and no matter whose equipment. That is simply not realistic or legal. Some more reality:
An average house in an average location costs over $100,000 on average. A decent new car is hitting $30,000 A fair meal in a diner will cost $12 to $20 plus tip. Even a burger, fries and drink at the local puke'n'choke will cost you $10. $3 won't even get you a bus ticket across town - let alone leave enough to send to the folks "back home"
