Yes, the TE20 life is engineered to be either up or down, not inbetween. If you try to set it inbetween, it generally will not stay there and will gradually go up or gradually go down. There is a little jig that you can buy to allow you to have more control. Go down to the Ferguson forum and enter your question there for more info.
