Mine is a 19 kW diesel unit, but when I got a new heat pump a few years ago they said no way. If I kick it on and the voltage swings of the generator burn up the DC motor I am on my own. It rarely goes out in warm weather, but the air is tight tonight. I'm going to need that ceiling fan running full tilt. I would be uncomfortable with out Bertha running in the shed!
