I switched from Michelin LTX to Cooper Discoverer last Fall- they plowed really well, and seem to carry the weight, although not really pushed them yet. Much better ride, but will probably result in quicker wear, Michelin is hard, but long-wearing.
I made the mistake of buying these from the country store south of me rather than my go-to tractor tire guy east. They killed him on the quoted price, then tried to slip in the nitrogen fill, $6 valve stems, $5 per tire disposal fee, muffler bearings, etc. to the cost of $30 per tire more than the quote. My maturity got the better of me during the settlement, and I just told him the $120 bucks would be far less than the negative advertising I will spew for as long as I can remember to anyone who asks... A shame, too, they were real friendly and fairly quick service.
