I'm happy to say I got the hydraulic problem fixed. I got the tape from this here board as well as the kit to rebuild the pump. I bought a new set of work cylinder rings and a relief valve locally. The two guys on the tape did a good job of showing how to do it. I couldn't have done it nearly as easily without seeing that tape several times. When I fired it up those lift arms came up strongly, smoothly and highly. She don't bleed down with a load anymore either. Once you get through the job you have a much better appreciation for the engineering and development that went into that 42 year old piece of equipment. It does take two guys to get that cover plate off unless you got a cherry picker or engine lifter or some such device.
