Definitely, I don't recall ever having a bad experience with small mouth bass, they are good, friends dad has a long time friend that will fish the entire summer and will often share quite a bit of it. He's up north in the Adirondacks. I used to fish often locally, one place, a clean reservoir for the nearby city, where you need as special permit. Small and large were never a disappointment, mostly caught small though. I have not fished in years now, but sure knew how to get those small mouth bass. I used to do well with a dipper, Cotton Cordell, I still have those in my box and a few are well worn from all those years, they really went for these at times. You use live bait or lures ?
