When I had my knee replaced the Doc asked me if I had any objections to having it done on Friday the 13th. I said no, why? He said that you would be shocked at the number of people who won't have surgery on Friday the 13th. I was the only surgery he had for the day. Kinda figured that meant he could take his time. Musta figg'rd right, cause I was walking within 20 minutes out of the recovery room, used the walker twice that night, started out on a cane the next morning, off the cane in three weeks, and cutting firewood in 6 weeks. I've kinda been partial to Friday the 13th ever since. (smile)
