Working on a 1240 Massey here at work. There is no power coming out of the start switch to the solenoid. I think it may be a problem with the rigged up switch for the PTO. There are 3 wires: Red, Blue and Yellow, in the wire loom for the PTO switch. The original switch had all 2 connected, but this switch only has the red and blue connected, and when you flip the switch, the PTO comes on. Anybody have any idea what the yellow wire is for? I'm thinking its a safety feature wire of sorts, and am trying to figure out if this is the reason there's no power from the key switch start position.
