I bought my JD 2550 sight unseen but I bought it from a dealership that one of my neighbours used to work at. They vouched for them and have bought equipment from them in the past sight unseen and were happy with it. They said the air conditioning worked and it didn't, but it's hard to test a/c in Ontario in January. I have since bought a manure spreader from them. If there is any red flags at all I would run though.
