My terramite has a 40 hp 2500 psi hyd torque motor. It doesn't leak oil, but it seems to be getting louder, hi pitch noise. New ones sell for around $700. All I can find is a gasket set from factory, $80, no rebuild kits. Has anyone had any experience with this motor, rebuilding or replacing? Any idea who makes it? I can't find anything this big except from factory. I may just use it until it quits, wear ear protection if it gets any worse.
Hyd oil and filter is changed every 300 hrs, just recently changed it. I use the oil factory recommends.
