1987 Jeep cherokee. Left rear wheel and axle let go. I saw it hit the road bank on the left side of the road and then I lost sight of it. I got the Jeep off the road and was looking for the axle when a guy setting on a porch said your axle is in the garage across the road.. Sure enough it was there. I asked the garage owner if I could retrieve my axle and he thought I was kidding around until the neighbor came over and said he had seen it enter the garage. Good thing the door was open. We all had a good laugh.
