I THINK you are all wrong from my memory. That tractor came with one double acting valve and you could add another. NOW someone may have been cheap and only plumbed half of the valve using it on a single acting cylinder but if you go back to the valve there will be a port plugged where your other hose goes. Now also check of the two valves there ONLY one has float detent the other is up down/ in out lad checked . You want the boom lift plumbed to the float detent valve and bucket to the other.
