We never greased our plow bottoms . We took a piece of asphalt and put it in a bucket and put enough gasoline in bucket to cover asphalt and put lid on bucket and let it set and desolve the asphalt. When we got done plowing we would paint bottoms with the mixture and the gasoline evaporates and leaves an asphalt coating on them which will last years even setting out in weather. When you get ready to use plow again take gas rags and asphalt coating will wipe off and the first time across field they will look like a new plow.
