There'll be another auction come up. I know it's hard to stay at home when something you love goes by.
My dad had both knees replaced, a good friend of mine at the age of 55 just had one replaced. The doctor opened up my friend's knee from the back side. I guess this way if he has to kneel down he won't be kneeling on a scar.
My bone and joint doctor told me hopefully I can hold off until I'm 60 to have my left one replaced. I keep it wrapped now which helps it feel better. I never thought it would happen at such an early age.
Just make sure you do your exercises. Those are very important with a knee replacement from what I've seen.
