Mark, I live in central California near Modesto, and there's no meter on my well. I'm not aware of any metering of wells, at least none in Stanislaus County. My big fear is my well going dry, so we are very stingy with our water right now. This is year four in drought conditions. I don't know what's going to happen to the almond crop which is huge around here.
