I had an excavator here last week loading rip-rap to fix washouts along the creek. Anyway the first scoop out of the pile we caught a big ole' 'coon between the thumb and bucket. The 'coon got dumped in the truck still alive but unable to move it's back legs. before I could get my gun to put it out of it's misery it crawled off the tailgate and in between the track and sprockets, the guy running the excavator and I had to laff that 'coon musta' had a death wish.
