Just going by what he said and not talking to him but I'm assuming he's being truthful I'd easily go $1200-$1500 a good running engine is worth that.So thats 3X scrap price. A good example is a White 2-70 w/loader I have now,bought it with a trans problem for $1800,sold the rear wheels and tires for $900 and the loader for $1000 has a great running engine and a 3 speed hydra whats left is easily worth $4000 to me.I'll probably keep the rest of the tractor until I need parts for my Oliver 1650 or find a nice Oliver tractor with a bad engine either way I could care less what it would cost to fix it as long as the parts are worth the $$$$.
