Make them run you down! Very few states will actually enforce a pickup and bumper hitch trailer. Nebraska, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Kansas all have signs saying any trailer other then RVs have to stop. Only time I WILL stop, is with livestock. Then its just to show health and brand papers. The rest of the time they can run me down if they want. I do have a CDL and pull big enough trailers that makes each of the DOTs try to figure out what I need. I don't haul for hire, and have farm plates. There have been a few times I have grossed over 40,000 pounds. I still don't stop. Nor do I have DOT numbers, IFTA stickers or any of that.
