To remove the water that's clinging to the walls and parts in the transmission use Trans Tune by Sea Foam. I used it on a FarmTrac that still had moisture in it after hydraulic oil was changed. Followed instructions and dumped the hyd. oil after it ran at up to temp for a while. It worked. No more problem and replaced the shifter boot so it wouldn't happen again.
Sea Foam instructions: Add one pint of Trans Tune to every four gallons of hydraulic fluid at full operating temperature. After at least 30 minutes of operation, check the hydraulic fluid for color and clarity. When the fluid becomes dirty, change it. (The addition of a high-detergent oil like Trans Tune may cause the hydraulic fluid to become dirty sooner than normal, as it cleans built-up contamination.)
