I guess I'll side with Tim too.. Ford trks & J/D's here... I'm a parts manager @ a New Ford Store & don't think it's right to bite the hand that helps feed me. I know Ford has made some units that haven't been good, but I've never had one. Same goes for Deere, we just don't buy those.
But I believe if the horse is running, & the horse has treated you right, you'd better stay in the saddle. Have ever had much of any issue's with a John Deere or a Ford car/truck. We've had some GM's, & Had some weird once in a life time issues like sand hole in Block, cam shafts.
