I was back at the site this week that had the high pressure NG fuel injection on the 10,000 HP engine added a couple of years ago. I did the interlocks on the engine and another company did the injection. The engine runs much smoother and with lower emissions than any of the other ones with carburetors when all is right. The technology is pretty new, so they are finding issues. The injectors have 500 PSI NG on one side and directly inject into the head. They have had problems with the injectors sticking closed and found that the surfaces were too smooth. The manufacturer had to send them out and get them roughed up a little. They also changed countries of manufacture and had a lot of electronic component failures.
