Last week you guys gave me some VERY insightful information on a JD 2010 tractor. It appears you have saved me a number of headaches in addition to a lot of money. Thank you.
There is a JD 1530 diesel for sale here by a local dealer for around $6,000. Overall appearance is average, I have not got up on the seat yet. Before I wasted my time I wanted to ask the gentlemen (and ladies) here about their experience and knowledge on the 1530.
Do I understand it correctly that the only plant for these tractors was in Germany? Should that make me hesitant? (I'm not one of the people who put German engineering on a pedestal, although I respect it)
