I and my Case buddies on the Case forum, have tons of knolegde about them. You will get real deal answers about them there. The general tractor public has little, to misinformed comceptions about the COM tranny, and people badmouthed them because they didn't understand how a torque converter worked. They were ahead of their time, but a very solid and dependable drive system, (a standard in the construction equipment drive systems for years). The COM tranny was one step further as it had a manually controlled hyd clutch to lock the converter solid. Your modern day PU with auto tranny has this feature, only computer controlled. The engine was either a 251 gas/lp, or 267cu.in. diesel. I didn't try to open the link, so no comment on that tractor. Post your query again, down on Case forum.
