Not on any I have worked on. Ya some of the aftermarket copy cat carbs which I have learned to get rid of before messing with them yes but a good old factory M/ I have never sen that and never had a float drop to the point of the needle dropping out. And I have used the noise trick to make sure that the float does in fact drop as it should and never have had a needle drop out. Done hundreds of carbs over the 35 plus years of messing with tractor and yet o see that other then in copy cat carb that are mostly junk
