Gentlemen...... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, BUT..... First, the number on the sidewall of the tire is the MAXIMUM PSI for the load rating stated on the tire. Second, the manufacturer's recommendations are posted somewhere on the vehicle - in the glove box, on one of the doors, or on one of the door jambs. Those recommendations are GENERALLY arrived at after extensive testing on their test tracks at various pressures and temperatures. Yep, they sometimes miss the mark, but then too, I do not profess to know more about my vehicle than the people that designed, built, and tested that vehicle. Perhaps you do know better???
Also, I do run Goodyear Wranglers on my 4X4. Any tire that Goodyear calls "wrangler" is meant to be a truck tire.
