yes They are just a starter motor hooked to a gear track. Think a long straight fly wheel. The battery charges on normal 110 volt AC. Some safety sensors to keep from running over things. The leasing company will have it paid for in 3 years. If it is purchased for a home you are not normally required to have annual inspections. I recommend them.
