John Deere 4030, 4230 definitely available up to 1978. I also have a picture in a book with caption that shows a family standing in front of a JD 4040 narrow front they claim was ordered with narrow front from the factory. Although its possible the narrow front was put on at the dealer, or may have been laying around the factory unsold. Caption reads...

I have another book that says 30 series were the last tractors with NF. So I cant say when it ended for JD anyway!
