A lot depends on what you are looking for. Remember that paint is a thin film. the finished product will reflect the amount of time and effort you put into the job. Did you fix any oil leaks? You can do it on the cheap but it's like pay me now or pay me later. You have to decide that. I remember years ago the dealers did that to sell a used machine. = Steam clean, put a paper bag over the mag or dist. and paint them. They looked ok from a distance.
