Thanks for letting us know why the tractor wouldn't start. I am the poster who said he would not bet the farm but would bet the fence that it had spun a bearing. Now if you are lucky the crank won't be so bad that it can't be turned. It cost me $900 for a new crank for a Massey that spun a bearing. As I remember, you are repairing the tractor for another person who is hoping to get out of the repair as cheaply as possible but if it were my tractor I would do a complete rebuild. It will never be cheaper than right now.
