I have done a fair amount of sand blasting on different projects, using both a cabinet and a pot. I killed my air compressor awhile ago, so I am making a major upgrade there, so I plan to get a sand blaster too. I am planning to get pressurized as opposed to siphon. Not looking for any help on sizing, but I do need help on what to get for a nozzle size, and type of nozzle material. What I have used before was ceramic, and seemed to work OK with the AL oxide that I plan to use. I also am wondering what to look for in a hood/helmet. I have experienced the importance of being able to see, and think that perhaps supplied air may be a good idea. I know that it will help a lot but not sure if it is worth it. I see that everybody sells compressors and sand blaster pots but not so much real nozzles and hoods. So who is a good source?
