They are "tensioned fabric structures".There are several manufacturers of them .They are NOT ALL EQUAL! The 'WeatherPort' brand is the 'original',invented in cold high altitude deep snow Gunnison Colorado in 1968.They are now made 10 miles from my home at Olathe and Delta CO. I worked for them for 10+ years,did alot of R/D work for them.I 'designed' the 100'x210' 'Olympic Superstore' that stood at the Salt Lake Olympics.
