Like I said below. Don't knock the glue or the paper. Both held just fine in the filter I dissected. But that was their bottom of the line filter. Their top of the line has whistles and bells you wouldn't believe existed in Fram filters......exceed the Wix that I mostly use. Don't take my word for it, look it up for yourself.
Oh and for the list of what companies Wix supplies, Parts Plus is another user. On Wix built filters, first 2 numbers identify whose paint is on the filter. The rest of the numbers identify the filter specs and will be identical across the spectrum of jobbers for a particular design. So it's not rocket science to go to a parts jobber and find a filter built by them.
