Bought a 1995 350 Van from a Ford dealer, had 18000 miles on it. Warranty was 36,o 000. We wre on a trip to SC and returned to FL. The trasmission started to jerk. Got to Ford dealer with 36032 miles on truck and fought for warranty service. No Dice 800 bucks for a torque converter. We drove that truck pulling a travel trailer and a year later blew the transmission in SC. Went to Ford dealer and bought a reman (2000) from them with a year warranty. 400 miles up the road started jumping and bucking. in Murphy NC King Ford, took it in. Handed them the Ford Warranty and they said, fine. Take it back where you got the warranty and have them repair it After many calls and lots of days and anguish, and finding out Saluda Ford put the wrong transmissio in it) the Ford Rep came to oversee the repair which took 3 weeks for 3 hours of labor. Cost almost 100 $ in non warranty stuff. Hooked up trailer and left for Ohio, got 200 miles down I 75 on Jellicoe Mountain and blew transmission again. coasted into Williamsburg KY with Ford dealer . Another new transmission and the mech showed me that the cooling line was the orginal and was plugged solid(still under the original warranty) All this was within a 10 week period Tat one lasted almost 80000 and went again so I put in a Jasper . No more problems

My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
