This was back about 84. Bought a MH 72 combine from farmer, fall he had a oil line rusted out. Bought a newer larger machine to finnish his harvest. He repaired the 72 and thought it was good for use. Got about 2 mile down the road, rod through side of block, went back to get help to get it off the small one lane hilly road, not knowing what I was going to do, he pulled it back home and handed me the check back with apoligy. Think it went direct to scrap. Then I bough a 63 model Deere 45 about 35 mile from home, got to about 12 mile from home, stoped dead. Starting to rain heavy, got OK from farm to pull it in till we could get back for it, pulled it the last 12 mile home and trying to figure out why it had stoped. Found the power wire to coil had droped off broken from vibration I guess, stripped insulation and hooked back up and used for several years like that.
