Don't know if I've ever bought a pen in my life. Every store, bank, implement dealer, gas station or main street business usually has a bucket of them by the checkout for the taking with their advertising on them. I always pick one up when I notice they give them away. So I have pens everywhere. If they don't write, I promptly toss them and grab another. If I had a fancy store bought pen, the wife or kids would get a hold of it and it would be gone anyway.
