It's surprising Deere leads the market. I thought there was more self imposed protectionism at work. If I had to guess Deere's credit division impacts that market as it has North America for decades. I love Deere products but I have heard of plenty of stories where somebody was going to buy an Oliver, Ford, fill in the blank and the deal fell through because the financing was not approved. I remember an area Ford dealer shuttering back in 1986 that had a healthy New Holland business. His fear was that Ford Motor Credit would sink the NH part of his business. It would be nice to hear from ACG, Billy, and others who were in the business for their take on financing impacting the sale or lack of.
