When Firestone tire was on strike in Des Moines several years ago I had pickets in front of my tire shop for several days (I sold Firestone tires). What those idiots didn't know The restruarant across the street was where all the farmers hung out. Word got around and We sold more semi loads of firestone tires that year than any other year. All made with non union labor. I should have sent them a thank you card.
