Saw my first union workers in 1968. In the Philly shipyards. Never saw so many lazy people and stupid rules in my life. Ship was five months late leaving the yard. On the day we left for sea trials. Ship broke down two miles from the pier blocking the river.
Ole man got so mad he had the ships crew make the repairs.Told us to ignore any union worker. Told the union workers to stay out of the way.Or he would use the Marines to block them.
With oil prices the way they are. Now is not the best time for a strike.
