A few years ago, I talked with my insurance agent about getting coverage for a tractor drive and show. They wrote a policy for Hagerty and submitted it with my payment. I drove 25 miles to the show, 5 mile loop on the tractor drive, and 25 miles home. Then on Monday, I get a call from the agent that Hagerty denied the coverage because it is for a tractor, not a classic car. I got my money back.
Make absolutely sure the company accepts the policy before the date you need the coverage so if denied, you can search around more.
