Retire and enjoy yourself. I retired 9 years ago. Things just seemed to fall in place to make it possible. My father died from a rare form of cancer and my younger brother died at age 43 from a rare form of cancer, so I wasn't going to work any longer than I had to. I am lucky in that my wife is eight years younger than me and has full healthcare coverage for both of us.
