I can't remember it ever being this cold before. -26C with -40 windchill. I know that's nothing for you guys out west, but holy crap.
Spent most of the day getting the blower tractor going. Block heater was doing a really half arsed job today. Battery was dead. Diesel didn't want to flow though the sediment bowl. Who knew that it could cause that much trouble. When I finally did get it going though, it worked as it should.
3 different water lines in the house froze, which has never happened before. Still working at getting them thawed without wrecking the ceiling or wall. Makes for a long day. Really makes a guy appreciate the dog days of summer.
