The straight 6 engine was exceptionally well-balanced to run 2000 rpm smoothly. Torque seemed to kick in down at 1600 rpm to power thru tough spots. Factory stock. No mechanical trouble. In that era that tractor had a certified hp sticker on the hood. It had all the horses stated and more straight out the factory door.
