Hi you being a U.S farmer I wouldn't say to much about BSE in Canada. I just did a search looking for info on a cow I believe was in Alberta, and it was traced back to a Heard born in the U.S/ being fattened in Canada. I could not find that animals reference, but going back far enough I found cases where USDA seemed to be covering things up, or being very economical with the truth!. seems we might be honest telling you we find these animals once in a while.
It also seems odd to me that these animals keep appearing, just as beef prices rise for guys up here. It's either bad luck or somebody's got these infected animals and is trying to damage the Canadian market prices for there own gain. Regards Robert
