I have no problem with the Amish or their form of Christianity. The problem I have is the special treatment they receive from state and local government. They use their buggies on public roads for private personal transport, therefore they should be required to have license plates and liability insurance on them. They should also have a drivers' license. If their religion forbids it, fine, don't use the roads.
I have had no direct experience, but from what customers say that haul them around, it seems they tend to be users and try to get over by pushing the terms of an agreement after the handshake.
